Who are we?
Rik has a long experience in private infrastructure project developments and was CEO of the French infrastructure (roads and airports) development and operation company Egis Projects SA between 2004 and 2019. Rik then played an active role in the development of NeuConnect for the realization of the first Interconnector (electricity cable) between Germany and England, a project sponsored by the French infrastructure fund Meridiam
Herman works through his company Tri-Es Consultancy BV, a consultancy firm specialising in sustainable concepts around 5GDHC networks. Herman is a specialist in 5GDHC projects obtained through his active contributions in the Heerlen Mijnwater project (https://mijnwater.com).
Since 2017, Jibbe has been engaged in studies related to 5GDHC, completing his MSc in Energy Science on the topic in 2022. In addition, he holds an MSc in Business Administration - Strategy. He has been involved in European projects such as D2Grids (NW - INTERREG) and REWARDheat (Horizon 2020). Jibbe primarily focuses on (data) analysis and the operational aspects of XChains.
Thom Berkvens has over 30 years of experience as a project manager in the industrial sector. He has primarily worked at technical companies involved in, among other things, the construction of complete production facilities and sustainable applications in maritime shipping.
His knowledge and experience as a project manager, along with his affinity for sustainability projects, will undoubtedly contribute during the implementation phase of the projects.
